Luke is co-chair of Governors at Millbrook Primary School, where his children attend; he has been a governor since 2014.

Starting his career in retail, Luke progressed into sales in 2001. While working for GlaxoSmithKline, Luke grew his knowledge & experience of commercial maths, forecasting budgets, and building strategic joint business plans with his key clients. Luke now represents the South West for a national wholesale/Distributer within the Garden Centre & DIY trade.

Luke believes every child deserves the very best education possible, and primary years provides important foundations to help them meet their full potential in future life. He takes a particular interest in how Pupil Premium funding is used to support less privileged children.

He feels it is a privilege to play his part as the LACT develops now and into the future.

As a married father of four children, two girls & two boys. Spending time with his family is very important to him, and enjoys going on days out, especially to places of historical interest.

Luke has a keen interest in history & politics; this includes family history, and has managed to trace his children’s ancestors on both sides, to the 18th Century.
